JOY TO THE WORLD – PARTS 1 TO 6
Heb 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
THE JOY OF THE LORD
Joh 17:13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
Part 3 of 6 Joy – CHRIST To Destroy The Devil & His Works
1Jn 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
CHRIST, who is the Image of GOD, came into the World to destroy the Works of the devil who is deceiving the whole World by blinding the Carnal Minds of Unbelievers so they can not perceive the Truth or understand the Gospel of CHRIST.
2Co 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
CHRIST has Overcome the World and the Power of Death. HE has the Keys of Death and Hell which means they are under HIS control. HE is also destined to Destroy the devil and death, according to the Determinate Counsels of GOD’S Will.
Heb 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
Joh 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
CHRIST spoke >> a Parable << of destroying the Works of the devil during a response to the Jewish leaders from the Jewish Temple when HE stated a Man must first bind a strong Man (Satan/Adversary/the devil) before he spoils his goods (evil Works of the devil) and his house (the World). CHRIST revealed to HIS Disciple John, in a Vision in the Book of Revelation, that HE already has the Keys to Hell and Death.
Mat 12:28 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.
Mat 12:29 Or else how can one enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.
Mat 12:30 He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.
Rev 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
The GODHEAD: GOD Draws HIS People
Rev 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
JESUS CHRIST is The SON OF GOD, the WORD made Flesh and the Embodiment of the GODHEAD, which consist of the FATHER, SON, and HOLY GHOST/SPIRIT.
In Union and in their Appointed Roles they Affect the Salvation of Believers through the Ordained Works of the Covenants of Atonement, Redemption and Grace. Collectively they open the eyes of Unbelievers, turning them from darkness to Light, and from the Power of Satan to the Power of GOD, that they may receive Forgiveness of Sins and an Inheritance among them which are Sanctified by Faith that is in CHRIST. Act 26:18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
Col 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
2Co 5:18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
GOD draws HIS People to HIM to Reconcile them to HIMSELF by “HIS Universal Call”.
2Co 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Joh 5:17 But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.
#1. The FATHER
Col 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
Joh 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
When Believers respond to GOD’S Universal Call, to Draw them, HE Delivers them from the Power of Darkness and then they are Translated to the Kingdom of HIS SON, JESUS CHRIST, where they continue their Conversion and Regeneration. (See >> BECOMING A DISCIPLE OF CHRIST<< (A BELIEVER);
“The Universal Call” – The Promise
Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Act 2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
#2. The SON – The Blood
Joh 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
The Efficacy of the Atonement of the Blood of CHRIST cleanses us from sin and begins the Holy Work of Preparing us for Regeneration. A Believer receives the Atonement of CHRIST, which HE made available through HIS Sacrifice on the Cross, and the Believer’s sins are Forgiven. Typically they are Baptized in Water and then CHRIST Blesses them with the Gift of Regeneration through the Promise of the HOLY GHOST/SPIRIT who then Dwells in the Believer and GOD and CHRIST will abides with them.
1Jn 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
Joh 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
Act 13:52 And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Ghost.
#3. The HOLY GHOST/SPIRIT – The Seal
Eph 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
Rev 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
The Believer is “Born Again” and becomes a Regenerate, having a Live Indwelling HOLY SPIRIT. The FATHER, SON and HOLY GHOST/SPIRIT comes to the Believer and makes their Abode (Temple/House) or Abides (Lives) in the Holy Temple (Heart & Mind) of the Believer. The Spiritual Work continues as GOD Keeps the Believer to Preserve him in Holiness.
1Co 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
Rev 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
