The Church of GOD In The Wilderness
The Church of GOD was not a “New Idea” during the Time of the Ministry of JESUS the CHRIST. The Early Church and the Congregation of GOD on Earth began Before the Jewish Religion – Judaism – (Israelite/Jews) which is Recorded in the >> Old Testament. <<
There was a Priest and King of the Most High GOD who was a Contemporary of Abram/Abraham, the Ancestor for Jews and Gentiles under the >> Covenants, << whom he met after the Battle of the Kings. His Name was Melchizedek/Melchisedec.
Heb_7:1 For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;
Rom_4:16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
Very little is known about Melchisedec from the Bible but he is referred to here because he is introduced to us by Paul as a “Picture” or Pattern of one of the Offices of CHRIST as a King and Priest of a “Royal Priesthood”. It is also a Depiction of the Pattern for the Disciples of CHRIST JESUS who He has made Kings and Priests to the Most High GOD, the Father of a Holy Nation of a Royal Priesthood.
Rev_1:6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Israel & The Mosaic Dispensation
MOSAIC TABERNACLE (CHURCH)
Afterwards, over 400 years later, the “Church and/or Congregation” of Israel came into Being. It was an Aggregate of twelve (12) Tribes under the Auspice of one GOD. It became the Nation of Israel – the Jews/Hebrews during the >> Mosaic Dispensation << a period which took place after the Deliverance of the Jews from Slavery in Egypt. The Old Testament and Israel is a “Prophetic Panoramic Picture” or a Pattern of the Entire “Human Race” and the Problematic History of Mankind attempting to Exist without GOD.
Exo_12:3 Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:
Exo_16:1 And they took their journey from Elim, and all the congregation of the children of Israel came unto the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after their departing out of the land of Egypt.

The Way, The Truth & The Life

Disciples of CHRIST JESUS – The People of GOD
The Spiritual Church of GOD consists of People of every Nation, Kindred, Tribe and Tongue who are >> Born Again << of the >> HOLY GHOST/SPIRIT. << The Church of GOD that is built by CHRIST does not Require Elaborate Theology or lofty Titles, Positions or Dogma which Exercise Lordship over others, or Church Building Funds to Build larger >> Corporate Churches << which will contain more People but not necessarily Disciples of CHRIST JESUS. The Function of the >> Spiritual Church << is Discipleship, to Instruct, Train and Teach others about the >> Commandments of GOD as Taught by CHRIST JESUS << and not for the upholding of the Traditions of Men.
REPRESENTATION OF THE HOLY GHOST/SPIRIT

JESUS TEACHING THE MULTITUDES
The First Disciples
JESUS called His First Followers “Disciples” and Apostles. During >> His Ascension, << which was the last Time CHRIST JESUS was with His Disciples/Apostles, He gave them the Commandment to “Make >> Disciple << / >> Disciples << of all Nations” Teaching the Nations what He had Taught them.

The Disciple & The Cross
In short there is a Difference between Being a Disciple of CHRIST who Learns, Believes, is Obedient, Follows and >> Abides in CHRIST JESUS and the FATHER << and the Christian who Believes the Tenets of the Christian Religion which is Based on the Teachings of CHRIST JESUS with variations. For the Disciple – CHRIST JESUS is the Lord and Master of the Disciple’s Life Presently and in the Future. CHRIST Declares “Mankind can not Serve 2 Masters” which includes “the Self” and the Entanglements of the World which Attaches to the Self.
Mat_6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
Joh_8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. Joh_9:5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
Luk_14:26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
Rom_12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
